Celebrating LOVE and LIFE never meant so much before.
Claudia and Antonio are a true inspiration and their energy will for sure bring light into these challeging times. Looking forward to us all having the chance to celebrate again together with our loves ones.
Meanwhile, we are telling you the story of this festival inspired wedding that took place on one of the best venues in Sintra, Portugal
.
Claudia and Antonio are married for 10 years but never had a wedding celebration... They both agreed they would do it when Claudia turned 40.
The time has come to host the party of a lifetime to celebrate LOVE and LIFE, among friends. "Life is meant to be lived to the fullest" they said... And it turned out to be beyond our wildest expectations.
They came from Palma de Mallorca to celebrate in beautiful Sintra - at a venue that is quite like an hidden gem - and brought friends from all over to world to join them on this epic day.
So this is not really a wedding, nor it is a birthday party. It is a celebration ... of LOVE and LIFE. As raw and pretty as it should be.
We have created a vision based on their thoughts and dreams but the result was far better than what we have envisioned. The atmosphere of the day, the energy of people, the incredible music, the whole vibe... it was all so awesome.
We have designed the event based on the 4 lunar phases so we chose a venue that allowed us to create different atmospheres - and guests would walk from one stage to another - as if the day would unfold (and build up) at each different lunar fase / stage.
Music was key so, just like a festival, we had 6 different bands + one rad DJ to make everyone sing and dance all day and night long.
Here's a little breakdown of the different Lunar phases:
NEW MOON : THE FIRST LUNAR PHASE - WELCOME! LET THE CELEBRATIONS BEGIN!
We decided to go for low tables so that everyone could sit confortably on the floor and relax together with some cool lounge areas by the lake and the stage. We had the most beautiful floral installation so that every guest could take their instagram perfect shot at arrival. The decor on the tables was simple but oh so very eye candy.
There was music, palm reading, massages, art challenges and festival inspired hair & make up artists to spice up the looks.
The food was awesome and we set up a very polished BBQ with seafood, oyters and champagne and gorgeous cocktails together with the most amazing ice creams and other delicassies that made everyone so very happy.
We have transformed an old carriage into a bar it was turned out soooo gorgeous.
At the end of the first lunar phase, a very cool swing band led the guest into the second phase. It was a short 3 min walk.
WAXING MOON : THE MOON IS GETTING BIGGER AND BRIGHTER. BUT THE PARTY IS JUST GETTING STARTED.
Guest are welcomed into a dinner setting outdoors that had a carrousel has a centerpiece. ::)) Words cannot express the look on peoples faces. It was SO GOD DAMN FUN!
And the florals and vegetables on the tables... it was all so beautiful i feel like my heart is about to explode with joy!
Again we have set up food and drinks as if they were little street stalls, but don't get me wrong, we have had one of the most famous Chefs in Portugal cooking for the entire event and every bite was so very delicious.
And then... then we had the most incredible FUNK BAND and the SOUL POWER got everyone so very high on energy. The looks and vibe of the band certainly helped build up all that energy!
When the concert was over a short walk up the stairs welcomed guests into the following stage:
THE FULL MOON : FULL MOON FULL HEART. ANOTHER TRIP AROUND THE SUN.
Guest were welcomed into a more psycadelic atmosphere, outside by the pool, with another stage.
And popcorn, and hotdogs, showcooking and a bar in a dhome.
We chose an electronic band for this stage - and it was just perfect.
At 00h we sang HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Claudia (the bride) because it was her 40th birthday.
WANING MOON: THANK YOU. LET'S MAKE THIS A NIGHT TO REMEMBER. NO REGRETS.
And this was the grand finalle. People were welcomed indoors, into a downstairs floor with interior pool that was covered in glass and turned into a dance floor. We have transformed that area into an underground 70's club inspired kind of environment. And here we had a tequila bar ... and the most amazing DJ. And everyone partied like legends... with no regrets!
The whole concept of this party was thought to detail, based on the magic of life and our opportunity to celebrate it!
From the invitation we sent together with a tequila bottle, to the bracelets and festival poster, the signs at the beginning of each lunar phase... all the colors, the flowers, the music choices, the entertainment, the set up... We are so damn proud of it and so very grateful to be a part of all this.
We have celebrated Claudia and Antonio’s marriage (LOVE), we have celebrated Claudia’s 40th birthday (LIFE), but we have also celebrated friendship - and the atmosphere throughout the all day reflected just that.
The creative freedom the couple gave us also made our hearts sing.
They are a true inspiration in many ways, real rock stars and true LEGENDS! This was a party no one there will ever forget.
We aim to create truly meaningful and profound celebrations that touch people's souls and this one was definitly ALL OF THAT. There was beauty in every detail but more than anything, there was joy, love and glory on peoples faces. It was so emotional, so deep, so very special in so many ways.
